Hans & Jean-Mari engagement - 21 June 2019

Who doesn't love a great engagement story?  I got to capture the moment Hans surprised Jean-Mari on her birthday at a place really special to her, and asked her to marry him.  He planned everything to the finest detail whilst me and a friend of his, who had to set everything up, were hiding.  She thought the big box was her birthday present...which it was...just bigger!!  Unfortunately the balloons were right in front of her face as he went down on one knee...and I could not catch her reaction.  However, I see that as part of the story they will tell... as with everything planned there are always variables that one can't know in advance....They are a beautiful couple and I know they will have a happy and blessed life together!
